THE FRONT PANELS WERE VERY ROTTED FROM SITTING AROUND IN THE CARPORT.
THE PANELS WERE REPLACED WITH NEW FIBREGLASS PANELS
THE SILLS WERE REPAIRED
THE CHROME WAS GIVEN A VERY GOOD CLEANING IN MY DISHWASHER! 
THEN THE BRAND NEW PANELS WERE RESPRAYED ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE CAR.
WHEN MY BELOVED MINI WAS RETURNED TO ME, IT LOOKED LIKE A BRAND NEW MINI STRAIGHT OUT OF THE SHOWROOM!
I paid a visit to a local mini breakers yard, when they saw the condition of this old mini, the owner of the scrap yard started shifting through a huge pile of jumble.
Proudly he found four ancient old hub caps off an original mini. He gave them to me as a present for my newly fibreglassed and resprayed red mini!

This mini belonged to a young lady who had inherited it from her father. Alas she was not confident with driving and sold it to me.
I resold it on a few years later to a young couple who were aiming to drive across Europe in her!
